They sound great live. I only mentioned them because they, in addition to BLS, managed to sell out a decent venue.
Not trying to classify our tastes too much, but for our 'kind' of music that's not as common as it once was. We usually see the bands on the way up or on the way down. Hell, some bands struggle to get treble figures these days! Now that's 'has-beens', lol.

I'm actually listening to the new BLS right now. How bad does Zakk want to be either Alice In Chains or Ozzy??? If he isn't sounding like a poor mans AIC, he is sounding like he is attempting to recreate Sabbath. I think, from what I have heard, the Sabbath sounding stuff is usually the stuff Ozzy turns down, so Zakk brings it to BLS. Shame, as I can see these songs being VERY good (the Sabbathy sounding ones) if Ozzy were to sing them, and especially if Ozzy were to mend fences with Daisly and they were all to work them out. Man, they would be the closest he has ever gotten to the brilliance of Diary or Blizzard.
But as is, they remain half-assed mediocre songs.
